Scratchy Scratcho

This is our lizard Scratchy Scratcho. We imagine that he is a FIRE BREATHING bearded dragon.

We bought him for $30 dollars from Pet Planet on May 4th, 2017. He was so tiny at 3 weeks old. 

MAY THE SCRATCHO FORCE BE WITH YOU!

He eats  6-10  baby crickets every day and a variety of veggies. 

The kids love to spray him with a water bottle so that he can drink up his daily water. 

I tell the kids to take out their anger and aggression on scratcho, rather than on each other. This means you can spray the lizard on the head with the water bottle as many times as you want, rather than spray your brother on the head. That way no one gets hurt!

We have had many bearded dragons in the past. 

1- Spazz 2- Swiggle, 3- Scratch, 4- Twatch, and 5- Scratchy Scratcho 

We feel that #5 is a lucky number. We want to keep him forever! He is a good veggie eater. Maybe he can teach the rest of us how to eat our veggies.

We are BIG fans of the Australian Bearded Dragon. They are so friendly, and like to be held. You can even take them on a walk in the grass. They will eat dandelion flowers too, just make sure they don't have poison sprayed on them. BEWARE when a dragon can get a sense for freedom outside, they are really fast. We like to use a leash under Scrathy's arm pits. We have been enjoying our new scratchy Scratcho pet, he is very social.
