Under Contract

Finally it's ours - we beat out the other offer. It is time to move. We have been looking for a home since August last year. Thanks to Mike E. (our agent/cousin) and my mom for sticking in there so long with our pickiness. We are really excited about the area and love the yard. The inside of the house if way out of date, so we are going to do our own Home Makeover and make it what we want it to be. August 27th we close on the home, and on the 28th (Tyson's Birthday) we get the keys. What a sweetheart! My mom (Carolyn) showed up at the house before we got there and added the hanging basket at the front porch with a nice little note.

1st project: Moving all our things from our apartment to the garage of our new home. We will be sleeping in the basement during our home projects.

2nd project: Sanding and staining the wood floor in the kitchen area while the chimney gets re-stuccoed, the broken windows get replaced, and a radon vent is installed in the basement. Cancer? No thank you.

3rd project: Paint and new carpet.

4th project: New countertops in the kitchen and bathroom (main level). And new tile around the fireplace mantle. Pink counters and tile? No thank you.

5th project: Removing the old light box in the kitchen and putting up new light fixtures.
