Sam Started Pre-School

Sam is 3.5 years old, WOW!

Sam started Discovery preschool this fall, and He loves it! We weren't quit sure if he would like it because he is pretty shy and a lot of the time he really doesn't want to play with the neighborhood kids. But as soon as he gets into the groove he really likes to play. Sam gets to go to school 2 days a week, and next year he will go 3 days a week. Sam is enjoying his teachers Ms. Cellest and Ms. Hillary. The first day he talked about his new friend Paul and talked about space. I really like hearing about the new things he is learning. He has learned to tell long stories, and he really talks a lot more. 

If you make it too big of a deal, when you ask Sam how the day went, he refuses to tell you. So I have to play it cool when I ask, "how was your day", and I can't ask him as soon as I pick him up. I have to wait until we have at least made it to the freeway, before I ask.

Sam loves LEGO's. I really don't know what we are getting into, because the price of Lego's is ridiculous. But it is super fun to see how much enjoyment he gets out of playing Legos. Gavin is Sam's best friend, and scapegoat. It's really funny, when I am trying to teach Sam about what is right and what is wrong he always say, "But Gavin does it". No matter what it is I am trying to teach him, he brings Gavin into the conversation. I love that they are best friends! Their friendship is like no other. When they get together they enter this world where no one else exists and they act exactly the same– almost like they are clones.
