Luke is 7 Months Old

• Conversation- Luke is a real screamer! He screams when he is happy, and he screams when he is sad. All I have to say is, What can ya do? Nothing really- sometimes I try to convince him to chew on his blanket so that it muffles the scream. Luke is my vocal baby. He loves to make noise and he tries to talk all the time. He really enjoys eye contact and conversation (baby talk of coarse). It's especially funny how much noise he makes while he eats. If he likes the baby food that he is being fed, he will constantly hum through the meal.
• Comfort- Luke loves to suck his thumb, I am undecided about if i should or when I should do something about that. In lots of ways it's nice because he knows how to comfort and sooth himself. Luke loves his swaddle blankets. If you hand him a swaddle blanket he buries his face into it and gives it a little tackle- just like Sam's "Tigger Tackle". Sam calls the swaddle blankets Luke's Lovie. While Luke is nursing he likes to hold on and grip something really tight. He has found the the easiest thing to grip onto is right in front of his face. So when he grips on I just close my eyes and endure the little pinch of pain. Hopefully really soon he will learn the meaning of  "be soft" and "don't pinch".
•Skills- Luke has started to roll from his back to his belly, and from his belly to his back. It's really fun to see him try and move around in circles. Luke has no interest in standing. Anytime you hold him up to stand a bit on his feet, he bends his knees. He will not straighten his legs and hold any weight.
