Entertainment . . . In Short Supply?

Sam does a good job of entertaining himself, he has always been really good at it. 

Today Sam came inside from the backyard because he had something he wanted to say.

 “ Ummm, Ahhhhh, (searching his brain for words to describe his feelings), Umm I am , Umm I'm (long pause) alone". In response mom said, “Oh are you feeling lonely?” "Yeah I am lonely" :( "And I want you to come outside to play."

He had done such a good job trying to explain the way he was feeling.  How could I resist this cute and humble invitation.

Having a second child is really exciting for all of us.  It sure changes life for everyone in the family. Sam is less busy, Dad is more busy, and Mom is most busy.
