A silly Booger conversation with Sam

sam: "Mom boogers are yummy"

mom: "No sam, boogers are not yummy. We do not eat boogers."
sam: (said with a bit of frustration)"Yeah mom boogers are yummy"
mom: (responding with my own frustration) "No they are yucky!"
This little argument goes on for a while, because I am determined to teach my little boy that boogers are yucky. Then I realize that I am having a silly argument with a 3 year old.  So I decided to let it go, and let Sam make his statement– very enthusiastically he states "Boogers are Yummy". So I decide, now may not be the time to teach him that boogers are yucky, because he is just as determined to teach me that they are yummy. Maybe it is best if we address this topic later in life.

10 minutes after this conversation, Sam says . . .
"Mom boogers and fries are yummy!"
mom: "Oh, do you mean hamburgers?"
sam: "Yeah hamburgers and fries are yummy"
