Sam Climbed/Fell out of his Crib - 16 Months

While mom was cleaning Sam's room, Sam was sitting and playing in his crib. Mom caught a glimpse of Sam and his attempt at climbing out of the crib. He was half was out, hanging one leg over each side, when Mom put an end to all the fun. For the next week, mom mad sure that Sam wasn't left playing in his crib, she wasn't about to let Sam practice his escape. Sure enough, Sam was left in his crib too long after his nap. The little rascal had lots of time and practice. For the First Time . . . .KABOOM! Sam climbed and fell out of his crib. Mom was not surprised, but she did rush to the video monitor to see how it all panned out. It was a good landing, and there was no crying from Sam. Mom's words after the event: "We have now entered a whole new battle field." Dad's words: "It really makes me laugh to think through his thought process while he did that, because he surely knew it was risky but rewarding."
