Sam Roo knows Sign Language

Sam is familiar with only one sign at this point and it is milk. This is done by using one hand, opening and closing a fist, like milking a cow. To our surprise Sam knew more than the word milk. For the First Time . . . . Sam used American Sign Language, and he signed Whatever. This is done by holding both hands in the "5" position, facing both hands towards your chest, finger tips facing each other. With an alternate back-forth movement, the fingertips are made to strike each other. We were very surprised to see Sam sign his first word because it wasn't the all familiar milk sign, it was a sign that he has never been taught. He is a natural with an attitude, "Whatever".
